Famous Women Scientist

I chose to do Joy Adamson.  She was a naturalist and wildlife preservationist.  She is most famous for her books and movies depicting her time in Africa.  She spent almost forty years in the African Wildlife preservation in Kenya.  While trying to protect three lion cubs her husband had to kill the mama.  After releasing two of the cubs they kept the third one.

I chose Joy Adamson because I love the fact that she is a wildlife preservationist.  I hope to one day also be a wildlife preservationist.  I love animals and all that they do.  I even love observing their behavior and their natural instincts.

When you think science what scientist comes to mind? What was this person(s) contributions and why do you admire them?

Issac Newton was, in my mind, one of the founding fathers of modern science as we know it today.  He made many very important contributions.  The most important being his idea of the laws of gravity.  His work is said to have "distively advance every branch of mathmatics."      “I was like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.”

If I was an element what would i be like?

If i was an element i would deffinetly be named patriciobronamith.  I would be a metal because I like to mix with others. i would also have a very high melting and boiling point because i am immune to the outdoors. I would also have a high boiling/melting point because i am already always hot. Another reason I would be a metal is due to the fact that I would be very flexible and "wirey." Thank you,

What am I learning about myself as a student in chemistry class?

What am I learning about myself as a student in chemistry class?  well personally i believe that it is too early in the first trimester to know very well EVERYTHING about myself as a chemistry student.  But, in my little experince as a chemistry student, I have found that when doing very complicated things such as a lab with VERY dangerous chemicals I work very carefully.  I have also learned that when doing these nerve racking experiments is that i work so much better with a partner, in which is usually is Preston Klein.  We work very well together and only do our work, never getting off topic. these are two things that i have learned about myself as a student in chemistry class.
